Qwen API for businesses in Southeast Asia
Qwen, Alibaba Cloud's broad family of chat, reasoning and vision-language models, is opening with early access on GotoRamp, an OpenAI-compatible API for businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand.

Because the family spans chat, reasoning and vision-language models, one integration can cover text, images and several languages. Quality differs by language and task, so test with your own content.
Support replies across markets
Draft answers in the language each customer writes in, for a help desk that serves Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines from one queue. Have native speakers review samples in every language before agents rely on the drafts.
Reading photos and forms
On vision-language models, pull fields from photos of delivery notes, shelf labels or paper forms, or describe product shots for a listing. Image input depends on the model version you call.
Listings in several languages
Turn one product description into versions for each marketplace and tone, keep the specifications unchanged, and route every draft to a reviewer before it goes live.
Call it with the OpenAI SDK
Qwen through the SDK you already use.
Set base_url to https://api.gotoramp.ai/v1, read your key from GOTORAMP_API_KEY and send qwen-plus as the model. This example answers a shopper who wrote in Malay.
Other Qwen IDs, including reasoning and vision-language models where they're open to your account, come back from GET /v1/models. Field details are in the chat completions parameters.

- No. You call Qwen with a GotoRamp key, pay from your GotoRamp balance and receive invoices from GotoRamp LLC in USD.
- Can I use Qwen from Indonesia or Vietnam?
- Not yet. Early access opens first in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand, and Indonesia and Vietnam are planned after local registration.
